”I came in as a 16-year-old with nowhere to go. I didn’t have a safe stable home and was couch hopping. Hearts took me in with open arms and I became part of their family. They don't care who you are or what your past is they just want to provide the youth and teens with safe housing, food to eat, showers, and even help with providing a plan to get out of the situation that made you homeless. They want to see you grow and learn to become a responsible adult and will provide what you need to complete that goal. They support you and are there for you through everything and make it known you always have a safe place to go. Hearts and Safe Families helped bring my family back together and not only helped me but also my mom with her addiction habits and reached out to her as well. If you need a safe place to go and focus on yourself and your needs, and not worry about simply surviving or housing.

Our Community Members play a key role
in helping homeless, runaway, and at-risk kids and their families.
Hearts With A Mission extends our sincere gratitude to our community of partners for their generous support. Not only have they made financial contributions to help support our youth, they’ve also gifted their invaluable time, talent, and expertise. They play a vital role in helping us create a safe environment for the kids in our communities.
Thank You to all our HWAM Partners!
My passion for helping people carries over to my career as a loan officer. I believe that being a loan officer is more than finding a loan for a client. It’s about building trusting customer relationships and providing education to fully understand all aspects of their decision and how it affects them now and in the future. I will partner with you to ensure you understand the mortgage process from start to finish, to help you buy the home you love with ease and confidence.

Our passion for home and community extends to our charitable giving.
Guild is devoted to the communities in which we live and work. We support dozens of local and national charities through direct donations and company-supported volunteer hours.
This year, we’re celebrating our 60th year in business. Since our founding as a single office in 1960, we’ve been delivering the promise of home in every neighborhood and community we serve.
Over the past 60 years, we’ve been bringing our customers home, building trust with our partners and creating foundations for our employees to thrive. We have borrowers whose children and families have become customers. Some of our employees have been with Guild for more than 40 years. Our focus on creating customers for life will ensure we’ll be here to continue building lifetime connections for many years to come.
We believe that every person has the potential to succeed in life. We believe in the value of education, gainful employment and self-determination for all people regardless of the circumstances of their birth. At the same time, we know that many people do not have access to the opportunities and supports that enable their success. Our investments address this opportunity gap. We also know that people encounter obstacles along the way, and we aim to help them overcome those challenges.
We believe in the power of rural communities. Communities create the conditions that allow children and families to thrive. Communities are the backbone of our democracy. We believe that a community works best when it works for all of its members, especially for those who are disadvantaged or excluded due to poverty, race/ethnicity, and geography. Our investments provide rural communities with the tools and capacities they need to build a vital future for themselves – a future where every resident can thrive.
We believe that the future of rural Oregon and Siskiyou, Calif., depends on finding common cause and mobilizing collective effort. Communities and their residents are diverse. We believe that healthy communities harness the strength that comes from those differences and create a sense of belonging and commitment to the greater good. Our investments build on the wisdom of rural residents and seek ways to ensure that every voice is heard and respected. Creating a vibrant future is a complex task. It needs all of us – together.
We commit ourselves to putting these beliefs into action.
The West Family Foundation has been everything we hoped for and more. Many wonderful groups and organizations have applied for grants, and it has been our pleasure to help these worthy causes.
We hope that the West Family Foundation’s contributions have blessed our community and helped make it a better place for all of us. We are excited to build upon our first 10 years as we continue our mission of assisting children and families.
We have great expectations for Southern Oregon and look forward to meeting many more new and dynamic organizations within this very special community.
This is Garrison’s 12th year in business. We have grown from 1 store to 4, from 10 employees to over 60, and donated nearly 1 million dollars to local charities. We owe our success to three things, 1 is the incredible team of people working at Garrison’s, 2 is our loyal patrons, and 3 is executing and living what WE BELIEVE each and every day.
“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn’t as individuals.” ~ Jean Vanier

UCAN is one of about 1,000 community action agencies found in the United States. Community Action Agencies (CAAs) are non-profit and public organizations established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America’s War on Poverty. Community Action Agencies help people to help themselves exit poverty. CAAs are a primary source of direct support for the more than tens of millions of people who live in poverty in the United States. The majority of CAA program participants are extremely poor, with incomes below 75 percent of the federal poverty level.

”It was fun to watch them be kids for once. From singing along to songs in the car, to snowball fights, to their laughter as they came down the hill. They all had a blast. It was a perfect way for them to get away from their worries for the day
