Josephine County Youth Shelter

1540 NE 9th St., Grants Pass

For youth ages 10-17, we provide emergency shelter for up to 72 hours —or up to 120 days with parental or guardian consent. The shelters are open and staffed by trained Life Coaches and a Case Management team 365 days a year, 24/7 - walk-ins and calls are accepted at all hours.

Services are available to all eligible youth regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability. Walk-ins, drop-offs and referrals are all assessed and screened to identify needs, eligibility and appropriateness. All youth entering the shelter will be cleared by local Law Enforcement.

Hearts With A Mission provides a stable environment for youth to stabilize, stay in school, resolve conflict, learn new self-management skills, connect with safe adults and receive guidance and support while developing a safe exit plan through individual case management. Youth can choose to move towards family re-unification, alternate family living, or pursue self-sufficiency.
